一句「哈哈哈」扯上種族歧視，絕對是前籃網控衛傑克（Jarrett Jack）始料未及，他今天再次澄清，這則推特留言與華裔後衛林書豪無關。
林書豪在7月1日於推特親自宣布，以三年3600萬美元加盟籃網，就在20分鐘後，才剛遭籃網釋出的傑克留言：「哈哈哈」，被解讀為嘲笑籃網簽下林書豪。
傑克今天在訪問中還原情況，當天他與鵜鶘後衛佛萊瑟（Tim Frazier）、盧卡斯三世（John Lucas III）以及他的父親盧卡斯二世（John Lucas II）一起練球，傑克因為遲到幾分鐘，一進門就被大夥嘲笑。
傑克表示，佛萊瑟接著在練球時也做了一件蠢事，他見機不可失嘲笑反擊，一群人玩鬧沒完沒了，最終決定結束練球，到盧卡斯家中續攤，傑克就在此時發出了這則「哈哈哈」留言，直到接到弟弟的來電，他才知道這則留言在網路上引起話題。
傑克有點無奈，「籃網與我分道揚鑣，他們勢必要簽下其他人，假設他們簽下康利（Mike Conley），然後我留言哈哈哈，會有這些騷動嗎？」無端扯上種族歧視，他說，「我的感覺是，你們竟然相信這些事情？這真的瘋了！」
傑克隨後試圖在推特上澄清，他留言「有太多籃球以外的事情能讓我笑，不要扯出這些愚蠢的東西。」但沒有太大效果。
傑克表示，「我還沒與林書豪聯絡，但我希望他不會認為我是針對他。」他也提到，如果遇到林書豪，將會當面與他聊聊，但不會特地打電話解釋。
